The Galah (Eolophus roseicapilla) is often seen in Alice Springs, sometimes in small to large groups, especially during good times when they can be seen foraging on the ground for grass seeds. They also feed on seeds from Australian shrubs and trees, such as the Acacia (Wattles) and Casuarina (She-oak).
