Australia has a unique depth of native flora not found anywhere else in the world, that also includes introduced plants, since colonisation. Many of the non indigenous species of flora to Australia from around the world, have seen some become very popular with other species becoming pest plants often within specific regions and zones, or like buffel grass, have become unwanted species that have established themselver across the continent.
