Margaret is a keen traveler and once back in her studio she paints and sculpts a series of works about her travels.

At present she is working on a series depicting her visit to Craft Central and the Alice Springs area. She has also been to Heron Island and is working on reef and coral cay ideas.

Born in South Africa, Margaret Worthington lived in Zambia and then went to Art School in Durban. Crewed with Clive Rouse she sailed the world for many years on his yacht Clipper, both settling in Central Queensland, Australia. Here they set up a studio and workshop where they create a range of public commissions and work for sale, working together as artists, designers and sculptors.

Margaret Worthington is a multi-disciplinary artist and published author.

A keen birdwatcher, Margaret often paints some of the birds that she sees. She has written and illustrated books (check out her website for more information).
