The vast region known as ‘Central Australia’, and sometimes referred to as the
‘Red Centre’ and the ‘heart of Australia’ is an area is often consider arid and desert-like, yet it encompasses a wide diversity of life… with some amazing flora and fauna. Centred around Alice Springs and focussing on the area around it for approximately 600 km, we will bring for you here some of the fauna and flora to be seen in the region.
Check out some of the interesting and beautiful plants, animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects, arachnids and much more that have been found in areas such as Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Watarrka National Park & Kings Canyon, East MacDonnell Ranges and West MacDonnell Ranges, Finke Gorge National Park, Owen Springs Reserve, Standley Chasm / Angkerle Atwatye, Wurre / Rainbow Valley Conservation Reserve, Simpson Desert Region, Tennant Creek and Barkly Region and Alice Springs.
