Held on the first Friday weekend in July, the annual Alice Springs Show is a fixture on the calendar for many locals and nearby communities, bringing anticipated fun and a way for many to catch up with family, friends and acquaintances in a fun environment.

Organised by the Central Australian Show Society since 1960, this traditional rural show provides all the fun and excitement you can expect from a large rural show. With close associations with the regional cattle stations, you can expect to see livestock and agricultural produce. Of course it is jammed packed with stalls, food and a range of events to entertain the entire family. Activities and attractions range from pets, poultry, cooking, art and craft, photography, equestrian, rides, sideshow alley attractions and a firework display.
