One of the great experiences for both visitors and locals is our friendly Alice Springs Reptile Centre. Hands on fun for the entire family! Come and see thorny devils, frilled neck lizards, goannas, pythons, venomous snakes, taipans, and more, all at the one location in the best reptile centre in Central Australia.

Wander around the exhibits at your own leisure and drop in to see our local resident Terry, the Saltwater Crocodile.

With over 100 reptiles of over thirty species, presented in both indoor and outdoor exhibits, it is a great place to view up close the many wonderful creatures that inhabit Australia.

The Gecko Cave which was opened in 2006, is the ideal place to start your visit to the Reptile Centre. Marvel at the many species of gecko on display that would be almost impossible to see in the wild.

Of course, if you can time your visit with the daily shows, you can get up close and personal with some of the special outback creatures.

With the current COVID-19, you need to book your visit. Check their website for opening times, or contact them to confirm when the shows are happening.
