Adelaide Hills Fauna Flora FungaFauna Flora Funga

The rugged area of Adelaide Hills, centred on Mount Barker, with its conservation parks, reserves, sanctuaries and botanic gardens, forested areas of stringy barks and European trees, high altitude cool glades and fern gullies, offers a nature’s paradise of delight.

Brimming with wildlife encounters, from bird watching to the variety of animals and reptiles, insects and arachnids for those interested in entomology. There are magnificent examples of flora, from wildflowers to magnificent trees, both native and introduced in the parks and botanic garden. Of course there is also the growing interest in the many species of funga (fungi), that can be growing in the undergrowth on rotting logs and damp courses.

Check out some of natures fauna, flora and funga brought to you here (more information coming).
