The Wertabona Daisy (Streptoglossa liatroides) is a perennial herb measuring between 10-15 cm high, procumbent, with flower heads held on erect stems, sparsely branched and short-lived.

Found flowering in late winter to spring, mainly after rain. These were found growing on low land off the Stuart Highway, south of Alice Springs, on stony plains.

The flower here were a pink to purplish hue. The leaves are oblanceolate or oblong-cuneate.

These flowering Wertabona Daisies appeared with the mass flowering of other flora including the Pink Mulla Mulla.

Other similar species found in NT include Streptoglossa adscendens (Desert Daisy) and Steptoglossa decurrens/odora.
