The Pebble Bush (Stylobasium spathulatum) is endemic to the Northern Territory, Queensland, and Western Australia.
The word spathulatum is from the Latin spathulatus, -a, -um meaning “spoon-shaped” and refers to the shape of the leaves.
The Walmajarri people (of the Kimberley region of Western Australia) call this bush Kuparta.
