The Lemon-flowered Gum (Eucalyptus woodwardii) is a medium-sized eucalypt that has smooth, grey to white, pink, greenish or light copper coloured bark, which sheds it’s bark in ribbons, revealing a salmon-pink underlay.

Found to the east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, it is known for being a drought tolerant tree. An attractive eucalypt with large, lemon-yellow flowers, that hangs in cascades with the weeping foliage, it is a popular tree that attracts the birds and bees.

This Lemon-flowered Gum pictured here is in Alice Springs (the species being listed in the Alice Springs Town Council Native Plants Database).
