Hello, I’m Stefan and I’m a Spiderholic.😁
I’m a Welshman who has lived in Brisbane for ten years who has fallen in love with Australian wildlife. I discovered macro photography and haven’t looked back. The range of insects and spiders twelve months a year is staggering and seeing them up close is fascinating to me.
I’m spoiled with the climate here in South East Queensland which provides a rich environment for these critters to flourish. I try to get out a few times a week searching for the one that I haven’t seen yet or the perfect pose. They are everywhere, all you have to do is stop and look. Some are colourful but most have mastered the art of camouflage which makes the find more rewarding.
I suffered a massive stroke last year but that hasn’t stopped me, I’ve a limp and one good arm but I’m still out hunting. Thank you and I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I do taking them.
