The female Scorpion-tailed Spider (Arachnura higginsi) produces strings of woolly-covered, brown egg sacs, that measure about 5 mm long. Starting from the top of the web, they are hung down to the centre of the web.. Up to eight strings/strands, they contain around 60 eggs that measure about 0.8 mm in diameter.

Once laid, the female Scorpion-tailed Spider positions herself at the lowest point of the egg sacs.
