The Long Leaved Corkwood (Hakea lorea), sometimes spelt Long Leaf Corkwood and also known as the Bootlace Corkwood, has thin leaves that can reach 45 cm in length. The species pictured has upward pointing leaves.

A gnarled tree with thick, fissured bark and can grow up to 6m high. It has cream to pale yellow flower spikes.

This tree grows in a wide range of habitats that include rocky ranges, dry open woodland and spinifex sandplains.
