The Eastern Tree Dtella (Gehyra versicolor), previously known as Gehyra variegata, is a species of gecko found across large parts of eastern and central Australia from South Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, and northern Victoria.

A ubiquitous tree dtella or variable dtella, the Eastern Tree Dtella are found in country and semi urban areas, often encountered in and around homes and working sheds. The Eastern Tree Dtella pictured above was in an suburban house in Alice Springs, after the insects that were attracted by the house lights.
