Bynoe’s Gecko (Heteronotia binoei), also known as Bynoe’s Prickly Gecko and Common Prickly Gecko, is one of the geckos often seen in gardens, especially under rocks, flower pots and other items left lying undisturbed outside around the home.
Following Bynoe’s Gecko was in an empty dog water bowl.
The Bynoe’s Gecko is thought to be the most abundant reptiles in the arid areas of Central Australia and townships such as Alice Springs. It is believed that there are several sub species.
