In the heart of the city is ANZAC Memorial, a beautiful and poignant reminder of the sacrifices of war. The Anzac Memorial to Australia’s World War I soldiers opened in 1934.
Located in Hyde Park (at the southern end), there is the serene Pool of Reflection.
