Sameodes cancellalis (family Crambidae), also known as the Banded Pearl, has a wide discribution across parts of Oceania, Asia, western and southern Africa.

With a wingspan about 20 mm, the adult moths are brown, with white spots/patches and partly outlined in dark brown to black on the forewings, and white bands across the hindwings.
