Alice Springs Waste Stabilisation Ponds

The Diamond Dove (Geopelia cuneata) is a small pigeon that live in the arid and semi-arid regions of Australia, especially near water. They have been seen in the west, central and northern Australia, and as pictured here at the Alice Springs Sewage Ponds. They aren often seen in the company of other birds, especially near water sources.
