This wonderful mural of the Painted Finch (Emblema pictum) by artist Christ Scott, was part of the 2018 Alice Springs Street Art Festival.
The Painted Finch is found in the arid and semi-arid zones of Central Australia. Often seen in rocky areas, especially with ground cover of spinifex grasses.
