Queen Bee by artist Karine Tremblay, painted in 2018 as part of the Alice Springs Street Art Festival.

In wonderful mural, artist Karine Tremblay, depicts a native bee in Central Australia, highlighting the importance of the native bees, protecting and looking after our environment, as well as each other. The Queen Bee is surrounded by native flowers and native butterflies, against a background representing our spectacular sunsets here in Alice Springs.

This mur­al was com­mis­sioned by the North­ern Ter­ri­to­ry Gov­ern­ment as part of the Alice Springs 2018 Street Art Fes­ti­val, in con­junc­tion with Red Hot Arts.
