The Recyculator by J9 Stanton,

Created in 2015, The Recyculator by artist J9 Stanton is a large scale sculpture that illustrates ideas around recycling in a playful imaginative way.

The artist’s inspi­ra­tion for the work was derived from the joys of play and dis­cov­ery rem­i­nis­cent in child­hood, aim­ing to inspire the pub­lic to prac­tice reusing and recy­cling of dis­card­ed objects and mate­ri­als through won­der and whim­sy. The base form of the art­work is derived from an actu­al recy­cling machine and made from steel and cop­per. This art­work was com­mis­sioned by Alice Springs Town Council.
