Nepenthes mixta is a hybrid that is said to be derived from two naturally occurring species, Nepenthes maxima and Nepenthes northiana and possibly the cultivar Nepenthes ‘Miranda’. The combination of two highland and one lowland parent species means that this hybrid is relatively easy to cultivate.
