St Johns Wort (Hypericum oblongifolium), also known as Pendant St Johns Wort, is a much branched perennial shrub that grows 1-2 m in height, with arching, pedant branches. The leaves are stalkless, oblong to elliptic blunt leaves and large yellow flowers at the end of branches. The petals are mostly narrow obovate, 15-30 mm long. The sepals are unequal, ovate-elliptic, with entire margins. There are about 30 stamens (the pollen producing part of a flower).
Hypericum oblongifolium is found in the western Himalayas region.
