The Caladenia serotina is known as the Christmas Spider Orchid and is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia.
A terrestrial, perennial, it has a single erect, hairy leaf, with up to three flowers, that are variable in colours of white to cream and red. Flowering occurs from October to early January, although it can be prolific after fires in the previous summer.
