The Alice Springs Desert Park put on a wildflower display, normally through the winter months. For visitors who do not have the opportunity to see the wildflowers out bush, the desert park provides the perfect place to see the spectacular display, alongside the other flora throughout the park.
Did you know that wildflowers need 10 days of sub 12 degrees to germinate, grow and blossom. The other ingredient is rain, but the park have their wildflowers under irrigation.
