Boronia mollis x fraseri is a cultivated cross of Boronia fraseri and Boronia mollis, with Boronia fraseri commonly known as Fraser’s Boronia, and Boronia mollis commonly known as Soft Boronia.

Boronia fraseri is a small to medium shrub growing to 1-2 metres in height. The foliage is pinnate (compound leaves that are made up of a number of leaflets). The leaves are glabrous (without hairs) and is one of the features that distinguishes Boronia fraseri from the closely related Boronia mollis.

Boronia fraseri grows in open forest and woodland on sandstone especially along the central coast of New South Wales. Boronia mollis is found growing in cool, shady habitats, on creek banks and the border of rain forests.

Boronia mollis x fraseri is a multi-branched shrub that grows to a height of between 1 to 2 metres, with pinnate leaves and between 3 to seven pink flowers arranged in the leaf axils. The flower has for petals about 6–15 mm long, 4–5 mm wide.

There are approximately 95 species of the genus Boronia, all but one of which occur only in Australia. The majority of species are endemic to south-western Australia.
