Little Dave (2007-2022) RIP
First met him late 2008 and Deb around July 2009. Became a love affair and I had the great honour of documenting them over the next few years. After I retired with the camera once a week I went and would sit and watch.
He would fly down and wander around near me and we chin-wagged. Last 3 years not so much but in the last 3 months I did get down a few times. Little Deb popped over now and then.
Anyway he had to be 15 – 16 years old. 22 is the longest known life of a wild Egret. Just Bugga!
Might try and find Little Daves story, think I have it some where and put it up over a week. Here is a little tribute to a great mate including the last photo I ever took when he started walking next to me and I knew the line had been crossed.
RIP Little mate.
The last shot.
Had him carved as a forever reminder back in 2015, bronze cast legs, work of art.
