A medium-sized eucalypt, the Lemon-flowered Gum (Eucalyptus woodwardii) has a smooth bark that is grey to white, pink, greenish or light copper in colour. It sheds it’s bark in ribbons, and in the gum pictured here, reveals a salmon-pink underneath.

Endemic to the east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, this drought tolerant tree can survive in arid conditions. It is a popular planting for gardens and street verges, this eucalypt has large, lemon-yellow flowers, that hang in a cascades with the weeping foliage.
