Belonging to the subfamily Hylaeinae, genus Hylaeus, this “mystery girl” is possibly in the sub genus Prosopisteron. She is most likely an unidentified species and (not seen again since).

Hylaeus are a large diverse cosmopolitan group within the bee family Colletidae. Whilst the genus is also commonly known as the “yellow-faced bees”, not all have yellow faces, with some genus having white markings on their face.
