Gold Coast BeesNomia Bee (Lipotriches australica)
The commonly name Green and Gold Nomia or Nomia Bee (recently renamed Lipotriches australica) are distinguished with their almost gold bands of fur and long antennae. The male of the species are often found in groups together at night.
With their golden bands of fur and long antennae, these males form extraordinary clusters at night.
