Sondra aurea, commonly known as the Golden Sondra, belongs to the group known as Jumping Spiders. Some sources describe them as generally brown, with abdomen that is elongate, dark-grey with lighter pattern of lines of small spots. Some observations (as presented here), show them to have a almost black appearance.
