This small potter wasp is a sub-species with two distinct colours of black and orange. Two-thirds of the antennae is black, then orange, black head, black and orange abdomen, and tinted black wings.

This Australian potter wasp, subspecies Pseudabispa bicolor ssp. nigrocinctoides belongs to the species Pseudabispa bicolor, genus Pseudabispa. It is one of 4 subspecies. The following were photographed in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.
