The Meadow Argus Butterfly (Junonia villida calybe) subspecies (family Nymphalidae), is a fairly common butterfly that is found throughout Australia.

The difference between subspecies Junonia villida calybe and Junonia villida ssp. villida, is in Junonia villida calybe has the rectangular bluish patch sandwiched between the black-edged orange on the top edge of the wings.
