The sharp pointed leaves of the Needlewood (Hakea leucoptera) can be seen in the Olive Pink Botanic Garden.
A shrub to small tree, the Needlewood (Hakea leucoptera) has white-creamed coloured to yellow flowers that appear in early spring and summer. The spider-like flowers are located at the base of the sharp leaves in clusters of 18-45 flowers.
