The stunning native Pink Fire-bush (Commersonia magniflora), formerly Rulingia magniflora is found flowering during August to September.
Rare in South Australia, it is found growing in the far north west corner of South Australia. It grows to approximately 2 metres high with the branches and leaves covered in velvety hairs.
They can be found in the Olive Pink Botanic Garden in Alice Springs and the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden in Port Augusta.
