It is not often you get the chance to catch the mating behaviour of the Lasioglossum (Chilalictus), as seen here on the Poached Egg Daisy (Polycalymma stuartii) in the Alice Springs Desert Park.

In the full sequence of four photos (taken on a mobile), where it was only the female Lasioglossum (Chilalictus) on the Poached Egg Daisy (Polycalymma stuartii), the male sudden flew in, did it’s thing and then flew off. The four photos, from the 1st to the 4th photo showed a time stamp of ‎28 ‎October ‎2023, ‏‎1:58:56 AM on each photo. This meant that the deed took less then a second 😃 (you can see the sequence below).
