Banksia integrifolia ssp. integrifolia is commonly known as the Coast Banksia or Coastal Banksia. The Checklist of Australian Trees lists four other common names: honeysuckle, white banksia, white bottlebrush and white honeysuckle; with some older sources refering to it as honeysuckle oak.

Belongs to the species Banksia integrifolia, that is a highly variable species and is one of the most widely distributed Banksia species, found from Victoria, New South Wales to Central Queensland, in a broad range of habitats, from coastal dunes to mountains.
