This Australian Drain Fly (Clogmia albipunctata) is a member of the family Psychodidae. A small insect, they are commonly seen in and around bathrooms, including toilets, laundry facilities and showers, that provide appropriate larval habitats. The larvae of the Drain Fly can be found feeding on the wet organic material that accumulate in the drainage system.
