The genus Gazania are a group of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, native to Southern Africa, and commonly known as Treasure Flowers. A low growing groundcover, annual and perennial flowering plant, that have become a popular commercial and home garden plant in Australia. They have also become invasive in some areas including agricultural areas, coastal dunes, and along roadsides.

The flower are brightly coloured, many varieties have the yellow or orange petals with dark or black bases (sometimes with a white dot). They are popular with a number of insects, including the European Honey Bee (Apis Mellifera).
