The Galah (Eolophus roseicapilla) is one of the most common and widespread cockatoos found across mainland Australia. They are often seen in large flocks foraging for food on grassy areas in open country.

In Central Australia, they can often be seen around Alice Springs and along the ranges, especially where food and water is available.
