The Owen Springs Reserve is home to some amazing fauna and flora. During certain times of the year and especially after significant rain events, the wildflowers are spectacular.
The Long-leaved Corkwood (Hakea lorea), sometimes spelt Long Leaf Corkwood and also known as the Bootlace Corkwood and Corkbark Tree, has thin leaves that can be up to 45 cm in length. They usually have upward pointing leaves.
