When we gazed at this stunning installation and mixed media work, titled Guts (2022) by artist Samara Golden, from the USA, we were awed. It gave us the illusion of an apartment block that rose up above us and plunged downwards simultaneously. Within each floor and layer, there was a fascinating array of objects. This was a popular mind blowing illusion style artwork for visitors to the gallery, creating many layers of interpretation and perspective.
