Northern form of the Sturt’s Desert Pea

Presented here is the Northern form of the Sturt’s Desert Pea (Swainsona formosa).

The Northern form of the Sturt’s Desert Pea (presented here), is identifiable due to the paler boss. Unlike the Inland form which has the commonly known shiny black boss.

In addition to the known hybridised varieties with flowers ranging from scarlet, pink to pale cream, there are also variations in the colour of the central bosses. There are also tri-colour variants.
