I recently donated a few thousand tenebrionid beetles to the WA Museum (among a larger donation of specimens from a collection I acquired recently). Included were a number of specimens that had come from the HW Brown collection (1920-1940’s) and the Fred Fricke collection (1960’s to 1980’s), as well as more recent material. Here are a couple of photos of the older material.

Included were some nice Cyphaleus species including C. childreni, that has a small growth of lichen on its elytra to camouflage it, making it one of the more difficult species to find in the rainforest. This old specimen is from Brisbane.
