Central Australia is home to some amazing spider species of all different sizes.

They can be found in a variety of habitats, from gorges, waterholes, sand country, shrubs, trees, around buildings and homes. There are spiders that sit anb wait patiently on flowers for an insect to land before pouncing, and others that spin huge webs in which they catch their prey.
