Angkentye Stockmen Mape-kenhe — The Language of Stockmen:
A series of over-sized sculptures replicating original artwork by local artists Johnny Young and David Wallace with collaborations from young artists from Tapatjaka Arts Centre tells the lesser-known social history of First Nations station workers and their language of the land. First Nations people’s involvement in the pastoral history of Central Australia was much more than mustering stock. The language they used told of the harsh terrain and was critical in teaching other stockman about how to survive on Country.
