Located in the Southern Hemisphere, the Antarctic for many people conjures up a remote region that is home to the geographic South Pole. A region of icebergs and snow, frozen wastelands and blizzards. Yet in all this frozen white landscape, there are wonderful opportunities for some interesting photographs. With giant free floating icebergs, frozen sea water and frozen lakes, there is shapes and patterns everywhere.
