Southern Downs CrustaceanSouthern Downs Clam Shrimps
The subphylum Crustacea form a large, diverse arthropod taxon which includes creatures such as barnacles, crabs, crayfish, krill, lobsters, prawns, shrimps, and woodlice. Whilst most of these are found along coastal regions, there are some inland species that include shield shrimps and crab shrimps.
The Clam Shrimps can often be found in gnammas, that under the right environmental conditions. More information in our Fauna > Crustacea section.
