The Pollanisus viridipulverulenta (Satin-green Forester) in the family Zygaenidae, has metallic blue-green colour on the head, thorax and forewings. The Satin-green Forester Moths are found in the eastern parts of Australia, from Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

The forewings are 11–13 mm in length for males and 8–9 mm for females. The female have a yellow tuft of hair at the tip of the abdomen.
