Crimson Tiger Moth (Ardices curvata), formerly Spilosoma curvata, a moth in the family Erebidae.

The caterpillar of the species Ardices curvata, is dark and hairy, the hairs are usually black, but are sometimes brown along the middle of the body. There is a yellow line down the back and a zigzag yellow line along each side of the caterpillar.
